It is understood that the chakras have a direct relationship to all levels of a persons being. If a person is experiencing illness, trauma, or injury to their physical body, then this can manifest symptomatically in their energetic body. Similarly a person who has an energetic blockage in one of their chakras can experience physical symptoms in their body.
In trying to understand the interrelationship between the chakras and the physical body, it is important to first understand
1) how energy moves throughout the body
2) the bodily associations for each chakra
The 7 Main Chakras
Crown
3rd eye
Throat
Heart
Solar Plexus
Sacral
Root
The most common sensations you may feel are:
Heat- gentle warmth can imdi an active chakra whereas intense or prickly heat is more often associated with blockage and inflammation due to energetic trauma reaching release point.
Cold- this may range from pleasant coolness to empty coldness and could indicate anything from clarity and openness to a closure of the chakra.
Tingling- tingling sensations often indicate that the chakra is active and in reasonable health. Intense pleasant tingling might suggest that there is an expansion occurring in that chakra and the energy is strong.
Dragging- if you feel as though your hand is stuck or dragging through a chakra then this is a very clear indication of unresolved trauma and blockage in the area. It could be preventing you from moving forward with your life.
Pulling- a feeling of your hand being pulled to the side of a chakra can indicate imbalance defensive and protection mechanisms avoidance and a deviation from optimal energetic state.
Vibration- sensations may be felt from slight quivering through to obvious shaking over a chakra. This could indicate anything from open and active energy flowing through to a profound awakening or an ascension process occurring.
