Healing Crystals

Healing crystals come in all shapes and sizes.

The more commonly used crystals in crystal healing include, clear quartz, rose quartz, amethyst, and hematite.

Amethyst

Appearance: Deep purple to light lavender transparent crystal, often in its natural pointed form.

Chakras: Crown and 3rd eye

Healing: Amethyst is a stone of spirituality, higher awareness and the new age. It is used to support sleep, alleviate depression and insomnia, enhanced meditation, develop psychic awareness, cleanse the blood, support physical health and promote spiritual wisdom. It can also help with overcoming addiction and dependency.

Hematite

Appearance: Silvery black metallic stone, usually tumbled, very heavy

Chakras: Base, Earth

Healing: Hematite is very effective and grounding and protecting. It has natural magnetic properties, making it effective in pain relief and healing. Hematite helps bring focus, mental clarity and concentration, while also helping to cleanse the blood and circulatory systems.

Quartz (General)

Appearance: Quartz come in many colors but is most commonly recognized as being a clear, transparent crystal. Aura Quartz is quartz that has been artificially colored with minerals to make it iridescent.

Chakras: All, especially higher crown, crown and 3rd eye

Healing: Clear quartz is the most powerful and popular healing stone in a therapists kit. Rose Quartz

Appearance: Pale pink stone, usually opaque or slightly translucent

Chakras: Heart

Healing: Rose quartz comforts, heals, sooths, nurtures and loves. it opens the heart and treats emotional pain and grief while promoting self acceptance, self love and emotional release. Rose quartz connects people and reminds us that all beings capable of giving and receiving love in giant proportions. Physically rose quartz treats the heart and circulatory systems. Also good for the skin and soothing headaches.
